With little or hard packed sand, some bunkers can be very difficult.

How often have you played a course where there is little sand or it's packed hard.

All too often I end up 'thinning' the ball by catching it with the leading edge of my sand wedge.

Mel Sole from the Mel Sole Golf School gives an excellent demonstration of how to master this particularly difficult shot.

I put this into practice and what a difference. It has given me new confidence on those poorer bunkers.
