There are a lot of different ways of playing out of a bunker.

Like Mel says, most of us just don't spend enough time practicing getting out of the bunkers.

Not just out of bunkers, but in good position to 'one putt down'.

Not many courses have a practice bunker.

When I can, I play a little late in the day, when there's not too many golfers around.

This gives me the chance to practice the bunkers on the course.
